THIS NOTICE CORRECTS THE ADDRESS OF THE CHICAGO REGIONAL OFFICE IN THE NOTICE POSTED ON DECEMBER 29, 2004.
This mission of EDA is to lead the federal economic development agenda by promoting innovation and competitiveness, preparing American regions for growth and success in the worldwide economy. With funding from EDA, University Centers provide technical assistance to public and private sector organizations with the goal of enhancing local economic development.
In FY 2004 EDA opened competition for Univeristy Center funding in EDA's Austin and Denver regional offices.
In FY 2005, pursuant to this FFO, EDA is opening competition for University Center funding in the Philadelphia and the Chicago regional offices.
In FY 2006 EDA will open competition for University Center funding in the Atlanta and Seattle regional offices.
